This painting was inspired by a trip to Florida’s Emerald Coast and a view I kept thinking about after I came home. I loved the soft turquoise water, pale sand, and hints of lavender along the shoreline. More than anything, I wanted to capture the hazy light and quiet color of a day by the Gulf.
